The Hishmeh brothers arrived in the United States in the early 1970’s from Ramallah, Palestine. While bringing along a few possessions, they also brought their entrepreneurship and hard working spirits as they followed the American dream. The Hishmeh family has been proudly operating In Takoma Park Since 1972. The business continues to operate in the hands of the next generation.

CateringGreat spot. Fresh falafel, incredible hummus. Good happy hour specials, decent beer list with local beer on draft. Wine list could use some improvement - nothing from Greece, Lebanon. They've got a ''mug club'' if you're a regular. Will be back!
The samosas are soooo good! Had one order and they were soo good I ordered another. Some of the best tzatziki sauce I ever had. The drinks are also really good.
I've been coming to this place for 2 and a half years now. Their wings are absolutely amazing and the best I've had. Customer service is amazing and the environment is very nice.
Great food, we loved the chicken kabobs, lamb burger, hamburger. The food was warm and beautifully prepared. Great taste.
Finally, the contest is complete. In the best-burger- in-Silver Spring and Takoma Park-- goes to Olive. Not the old Republic, not Tak Bevco, not Zinnia, not anywhere in Downtown Silver Spring, and not Busboys.
